Youtube: Part 1Part 2

This is episode four of the internet-based TV Show, Absolution. In this episode, the survivors have to deal with the aftermath of the recent attack. It would seem their victory is short-lived…
  • Nathan G

Nice job guys! I can't wait for the next episode!

  • Laura G

Wow. This episode is awesome, the stuff between the characters is getting better and better. Music is awesome, there is definate suspence, plot is amazing, but I am wondering, why does Adam want to keep the warehouse buisness quiet?

Anyway, ABSOLUTION!!!!!!!! (you know, like FRUITS BASKET! Josh can explain. ;-) )

  • NateK

Very well done, but Nathan is in big trouble for shooting my sister. Josh and Katelyn: great acting. And really great acting on all of your parts.

  • Peter (Co-Creator)

Did you use something new as the theme music? It seems different. That flashback (the first) came out awesome. Thank God the music came out well, lol. I was afraid it wouldn't since I didn't have the scenes in front of me.

Eh…. No gun effects again -.- (I suppose that was a time thing?) (And what happened to the audio? Is it supposed to be like that?) – 2nd flashback.

Go Puppet Master! Nice green-screening, that came out well. There's something fascinating about watching a computer… Lol. That scene was pretty good.

That shed looks a lot like mine…

    Splenda product placement! XD

Oooh. Amen fits perfectly with the end. I like that. Good job Charlie, on music and acting, too bad you didn't have more scenes.

SCAVENGER! Ah, music fade worked awesome. Hah, good job Josh, you did well there. (You're a liar and slave though :P )

Overall that wasn't bad, good job everybody.

No the theme music is the same as always. I tried to stick to what you wanted as much as possible, unless it was too short or something. I doubt you noticed, but I extended Ivory in the scene with Micah and me.

Yeah. I forgot about them till last night, and then it was too late. Also, the audio was bad on that scene. Not sure why.

I'm happy with the way that scene turned out. Also! Anyone who wants the Monè Laboratories background for themselves, can get it here: http://www.absolutiontv.com/bonus-downloads/

  • Phillip

    okay

  • NateK

    okay what?

  • http://ColdShoulder.org coldshoulder

Heh. I think he replied to the wrong thing. Also!…you saw how easily I took out your sister…

:P Charlie actually told me that he'd have to take me out back and…”Take care of me” after that scene.

  • NateK

Yeah my sister told me that he said that, and yeah it looks like I accidentally commented on the wrong thing.

  • CharlieJB

Good episode. It's actually my favorite, or second favorite so far. I liked everybody's acting, in fact, I can't even think of any critique except that Teddy touches his head a lot. (But with a head like that, who wouldn't want to?)

I don't know what's up with the gun effects, but it really took away from the third episode, and was kind of obvious in this one. Also, like Peter mentioned, missing gun sound?

Puppet Master has actually turned out to be pretty extreme for this episode, and probably more to come. I owe the title to Peter.

Splenda product placement for sure, maybe they'll pay you.

Thanks for the compliment on “Amen”, Peter. That's my favorite song so far. (Also, I never got to say before, but I thought you acted very well in Ep. 3)

Overall the last scene was definitely the best, and the last flashback was my favorite transition that's come so far. Also, that white jacket on me makes me look like a doctor. Haha!

(Nathan you're dead, but great editting with music. Cheers… you're still dead.)

  • Diego Rivera

Wow, guys I enjoyed this one a lot.
Might even go so far as to say it's my favorite.
Lots of character interaction is great, and is only made better by the good acting.
    Looking good, guys!

  • Peter (Co-Creator)

Yeah, I feel really stupid about the missing gun effects. Lapse in judgement though, that's all. I'll just have to check and make sure all the scenes in EP 6 render out with ALL their effects.

Yeah, Puppet Master was awesome, we should building on that somehow.

Np, that song fit perfectly with the dinner scene and even more so with the table setting scene.

  • Peter_CoCreator

Thank Diego! Glad you liked it.

  • Phillip

uhh hmm u mean like beat the beep out of u

  • Phillip

    to Nate,
okay u want to beat him u no well u know

  • Phillip

  • Phillip

You talking to me? I'm not Charlie, and I don't know who Jeffery Kee is either. Charlie is CharlieJB can't miss him. and who am I? I'm Nathan Kraft.

  • http://ColdShoulder.org Nathan McFarland

No no no. Phillip, that's Nathan K, not Jordan. Jordan is played by Josh Bouquet. and Charlie is CharlieJB, who plays Doug.

  • Chelsea

Great episode! Dare i say the best one so far?

I liked the way the title was included in the episode. Starting out this episode the same way as the previous one started was brilliant! I think the beginning pause was just a tad too long.

    C. noticed that certain characters clothes seem to change every episode, that's not really realistic though is it? Considering that the house they're staying in is Green's. Did everyone have time to go back home and get clothes from their own homes?

There's a noise after every scene cut, why is that?

In the second flashback Krause is wearing the same shirt he's wearing in the present, is that his favorite shirt? :P

I'm surprised Adam killed the infected girl unnecessarily.

Great camera work and angles. Great use of music.

I mentioned the splenda product placement thing to C. too when I first watched the episode lol.

Great job with the storyline. You definitely have my interest and curiosity peaked.

Keep up the good work. :)

  • Phillip

    ohhhhh sorry,
(man I really need to get mi names strait)Heheheheheheheheheehheheeheheh

  • Phillip

    to Nathan,
ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty tyyyyy so you mean he is Doug

  • CharlieJB

    I'm Doug.

  • NateK

    No problem, don't worry about.

  • NateK

Haha this is too funny, it sure makes comments on absolution way more interesting though, I think the comments are more juicy then the episodes, ok not really.

  • C.

So we have intrigue now! LOL This is getting interesting. That Adam Mone is certainly looking like an evil character. But I thought they already knew about the warehouses. Isn't that where they went in the first episode?

That opening title shot was great.

I think Cassie does a little too much coughing in that first scene with Krause. She shouldn't cough over his lines. I liked her in the pool scene, though. She was very good there.

The “Six Months After the Spread” title was a little confusing to me. It initially made me think that this scene was occurring six months after everything was over. Maybe “Three Months Earlier” would have been better, though I always had the impression that the “current day” scenes were taking place not long after the spread initially began. Was Krause supposed to be rummaging through a garbage can when they find him? If he was, it would have been better if we actually saw the can.

Your closing credits start out slow and then speed up too much. That's been the case with every episode so far. I'd like to be able to actually read them as they go by.

In all, though, I think you are doing great. You've definitely piqued my interest.

  • Phillip

to Nathan,(at least I called u the right name this time)
    ty

  • Phillip

    ohhhhhh sorry,
    Charlie

  • Phillip

    to Charlie,
ohh hey your my favorite charecter and how do you get a backround

  • Josh Bouquet (aka Jordan)

to sort things out I am Jordan….

  • Josh_Bouquet

Ha ha yeah I thought they did get the trash can in the shot…. but ehh it was ok..

And the spread occurred something like a year before the series (correct me if I'm wrong).

Man the music was really well done guys! placement and time.. awesome!

And once again great job guys! still cant believe all that random stuff we filmed actually works. And well other then the gun effect it was golden tech wise…

(P.S. I dont know if this was just my PC but when i watched it on my laptop the sound was a bit off… but no worries on my desktop it worked fine!)
